"Padomos is a core garden world with a breathable atmosphere and a largely tropical climate. While the planet's rare scenery and delicately earth-like biosphere would make an attractive venue, it has been cordoned off by the Conglomeration of Deep Space Resource Extractors after a recent full-title purchase. Rumors of reckless deep-earth mining have began spreading to nearby colonies that, if true, would be violating the Antares Accords for the preservation of pristine worlds. As it stands, seismic activity has increased throughout the planet's relatively thin crust and a significant increase of oxidized dust in the atmosphere has been recorded. The Conglomeration, however, deny any illicit activities are being performed in the planet and the Terraspace Union government has given the megacorporation's massive 'science towers' dotting the planet passing marks on safety and potential environmental impact after inspections."
